Laurinprojects will work as independent curator in collaboration with Laurin's associated artists and other artists, spaces, galleries and curators.
The Laurin gallery was initiated in November 2003 at Sihlquai in Zurich based on a program of young swiss artists such as Rebecca Sauvin, Katia Bassanini, Edit Oderbolz, Yan Duyvendak, Yves Mettler and collectif_fact. In September 2004 a significant change of its location to Josefstrasse 151 marked the start for a new program. Artists such as Annelise Coste, Philippe Rahm, Natalia Stachon, Cat Tuong Nguyen, Ruth Blesi and Douglas White were included.
The gallery participated at international art fairs such as Liste Basel, Artissima Torino, Zoo London and others. After five years of exhibition making Laurin closed its doors at Josefstrasse.
